If your vehicle is not clean totally, you can use the Coverking’s special silk dustier and clean it properly. If you place the Stormproof Car Cover over the dust ridden vehicle body, the dust and dirt particles might stick to your Stormproof Car Cover and unleash severe damage. It is also necessary that you don’t install the Stormproof Car Cover over a wet vehicle body.

Once you start installing the Stormproof Car Cover, take extra care to ensure that your car cover never comes in contact with your car exhaust tips if they are too hot or sharp edged. Your car cover lock kit has a cable coated with vinyl material and further this cable has a metal piece on one end and a loop at the other end. Now, move on to the passenger’s side of the covered vehicle and install the lock kit by affixing the cable loop at a specific position of around two inches through the grommet. Now, pull the metal piece end along to the driver’s side by first taking it along under the grommet via the loop of the first cable.  Now, as you reach the driver’s side, pull the cable from outside the cover by two inches through the grommet and thereafter you can lock the end piece to the cable body at ease.

 Cleaning Instruction:

Your Stormproof Car Cover can be cleansed properly via hand washing as well as machine cleaning. The hand washing procedure is particularly applicable to Stormproof Car Covers that are not-so dirty and for machine cleansing; you should opt for large M/Cs (automatic speed control washers). Small M/Cs won’t work properly as the washing space is considerably small in small automatic speed control washers.
